The general public, including road users and mariners are advised to take necessary precautions to ensure safety during active weather conditions.

The Brunei Darussalam Meteorological Department, Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications issued the advisory following the country's weather conditions are expected to be active until Saturday, 25th October, which is indirectly affected by Severe Tropical Storm 'FENGSHEN'.

Occasional heavy and gusty showers or thundershowers are expected to affect several areas of the country, with wind gust of up to 50 kilometres per hour in or near heavy showers. Sea state is generally rough at Slight to Moderate between 0.7 to 1.4 metres. Risk of flash flood especially in low-lying and flood prone areas as well as near the river banks during continuous heavy rain and also during high tide. Strong winds may damage unstable structures with increased risk of falling trees and blown off roofs. Moderate sea conditions are dangerous for small boat operations.​
